Calamandrana, a few kilometres from Asti.
The vineyards, about 8 hectares (19 acres), have an
ideal southeast exposure and are planted on calcareous
marl; at an altitude of 200-250 metres, the microclimate
is ideal for the perfect ripening of the fruit and,
hence, for the production of outstanding wines.
Vinification and ageing:
After a light pressing, the chilled first-run juice
is stored until the development of effervescence in
pressure tanks and subsequent bottling.
The process produces a wine that is always fresh and
lively, with rich aromas and classic varietal character.
